Presented as a series of prints, the exhibition explores concepts of environmental and social sustainability through the lens of architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, product design, service design, fashion design and design ethnography.
The Exchange at Knowledge Market is an innovative research project space curated by RMIT University in collaboration with Lendlease. Over the past 18 months, researchers and students from RMIT University have explored and shared ideas for sustainable and resilient futures within the urban environment through community-oriented programming. Major themes of research include Zero Carbon Futures, Social Diversity, Digitally Enabled Infrastructures, and Urban Memory and Imagination. Having uncovered future possibilities, The Exchange hopes for this research to have ongoing value as a tool that urban designers, architects, developers and policy makers can use in their approach to urban development and place-making.
